Superyacht Onboard Hospitality Training has married up both aspects of Recruitment and Training and has rebranded under the name Australian Superyacht Crew Recruitment and Training.

'The two things obviously go together therefore making it easier for us to market and administer,' says Donna Morris, Principal of Australian Superyacht Crew Recruitment & Training.

The new entity’s website has been overoverhauled and all information can be found at www.superyachtcrew.com.au

Australian Superyacht Crew Recruitment & Training has been awarded Professional Yachtsmen’s Association (PYA) full course accreditation for its 5-day Professional Yacht Hospitality Interior Crew course.

Principal Trainer, Donna Morris, says 'I am proud we have been successful in gaining this highly prestigious accolade from the Superyacht industry’s leading representative professional body.'

The PYA is based in Antibes, France; the hub of professional yachting in the Mediterranean. Its members are made up of yachting professionals in the superyacht industry, and it has been the leader in the development of the high professional standards the superyacht industry demands, and strives to continue to represent all yacht crew, taking the course accreditation role very seriously.

The organisation is the only training school delivering PYA accredited Interior Crew courses in Australia.

Australian Superyacht Crew Recruitment & Training offers intensive professional training for those wishing to work on Superyachts as Stewards and Stewardesses to the efficiency standards expected in the industry. 'We also pride ourselves on personal service and mentoring of our students throughout their careers,' says Morris.

Australian Superyacht Crew Recruitment & Training is part of the Australasian Superyacht Services group; Australia’s national superyacht agency network.

Australian Superyacht Crew Recruitment & Training is aiming to set up a local training centre at the Gold Coast in about 12-18 months time. SOHT is also aiming to have another 'onboard' course up on the Gold Coast on 16-20 August so anyone interested should contact early to register before places fill.

Meanwhile, students can also attend courses at the Sydney Superyacht Marina in Rozelle Bay, Sydney, as it is close to transport and inexpensive accommodation. Courses are run at least once per month, and sometimes more often according to demand.
