Campion Marine Inc. of Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, continues its journey of reducing its ecological impact by announcing that it is now using Ecomate polyurethane flotation foam products, produced by Foam Supplies Inc.

Ecomate products are non-Global Warming Potential, non-Ozone Depleting Potential and Volatile Organic Compound exempt. Ecomate gives Campion the ability to replace previously used environmentally unfriendly foams with an environmentally benign solution.

'This product is awesome. It allows our operators to work in a healthy environment with no fear of any toxicity', says Bill Cornelius, Campion's Lamination Manager. Ecomate is also approved by the U.S. Coast Guard.

Campion Marine was also the first marine manufacturer in the world to start manufacturing all of its boats using Ashland's Envirez® bio based resins. Campion's goal is to leave the smallest environmental footprint during the manufacturing process by using the most eco friendly products to build their boats.

Campion Marine has been building high-performance sport boats and cruisers for 36 years. The company, at its facility in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, builds the Allante line of sport boats and cruisers, the Explorer sport utility water craft, Chase high-performance boats and the Svfara wake/surf towboats. They manufacture more than 37 models and 48 variations of boats ranging from 16 to 30 feet in length and market and sell their boats through their dealer network in more than 30 countries.

In another recent announcement, Campion has arranged export floor plan financing with Northstar Trade Finance.
