'Chaparral Wake and Ski show'

The Festival of Sails held on the Geelong Waterfront next Australia Day Weekend will have a new attraction with the running of the Chaparral Wake and Ski show. Chaparral’s new Xtreme wake boats will feature as the tow boat of choice for the inaugural event which will thrill the crowd with spectacular aerial moves and crazy tricks featuring some of Australia’s best riders. 'We are excited to present something new to the Australia Day public this year after having had such a great response to our static display last year', Says Chaparral’s Scott O’Hare. 'The difference is we will now be able to show people how well our boats perform with professional riders putting the Xtremes through their paces.' 'The Chaparral Xtreme’s are the only true salt water wake boat available, designed for use in salt from the ground up, we smash the myth that wake boats have to be shaft drive, these are not standard bow riders with wake towers, they are dedicated wake boats and I think we will surprise a few people with what they can do.' Chaparral will also have a range of bow riders and cuddies on static display alongside other wake and ski trades both selling and displaying the latest products and apparel, all adding to a huge long weekend. With live music, a food festival, street performers, fireworks, over 300 yachts competing in Australia’s oldest regatta and now the Chaparral Wake and Ski show the Geelong Water front is the place to be for Australia Day! Displays will run every three hours on Thursday 26th January and Saturday 28th January at the Geelong Water front.
