While print publications have been the marine media mainstay for the last 50 years the world has changed rapidly in recent times, with the Internet being the primary specialist news source. The TetraMedia Marine Group, who began online publishing in 1998, publish Sail-World.com, Sail-World Cruising, Powerboat-World.com, MarineBusiness-World.com are launching another online marine consumer publication for its Australian audience at Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in May 2011. By that time our monthly traffic will reach 240,000 readers. The TetraMedia Marine Group now sends over 700,000 newsletters each month across the Asia Pacific. (There is are single click unsubscribe, so this is an audience that wants to read our news). With such a giant audience and a lot of content, there are a large number of advertisers who are paying to put promotional content in front of our audience. As the most widely read marine news source in the world, the TetraMedia Marine group will always look for and publish genuinely newsworthy content. We now have 13 editors and sub-editors world-wide writing and sourcing significant original content and we are the largest original marine news content source in the world. However PR companies are naturally very keen for us to publish advertorial content for their clients who are paying for their services, as are marketing departments, without wishing to commit advertising budgets. TetraMedia Marine Group has formalised its Press Release policy, which is designed to encourage new business activity. This means that Marine companies can now submit via the MarineBusiness-World.com news upload system up to five Press Releases, free of cost which would run as a supplement to its industry news. If individual editors from the range of Sail-World and Powerboat-world consumer publications decided to publish some of these five releases, considering them sufficiently newsworthy they will do so, if they consider them relevant, but there is no specific requirement. Beyond that companies wishing to further expose the TetraMedia audience to its promotional and commercial news need to contact our media sales representatives, who will be happy to quote on a range of very cost effective media packages. We regret this policy does not apply in New Zealand. Please contact Richard Gladwell (nzeditor (at) sail-world.com) or phone (+649) 489 9267 if you wish to submit a news item. For Asian industry groups please call Guy Nowell +852 9680 7063 or email asiaeditor (at) sail-world.com for more details For Australian companies call Phil Arane 0407 076 585 or email Phil (at) trademediaservices.com.au For New Zealand companies call Colin Preston +6421 267 4842 or email nzsales (at) sail-world.com For North American companies call Greg Nicol 877-620-9373 or email gnicol(at)kerrwil.com
