Marine13
Marine13 is shaping up to be the most important business-to-business event for the marine industry in Australia and the SE Asia/SW Pacific region in 2013.

With an expansive program of over 50 sessions across two full days, Marine13 will explain current trends in consumer behaviour, examine ways for marine businesses to harness the online world, deliver practical guidance on tackling development and planning problems, show how to drive business from boat show investments, provide tools to connect with non-boaters and convert them: with a theme of Boating for the Future, Marine13 is all about setting a new course for the industry, providing the resources to stay on track and sustain a successful marine industry.

An extensive panel of highly experienced, knowledgeable and well-known Australian and international speakers, from the marine industry and other leading consumer sectors, will provide information, education and inspiration. You will leave Marine13 with a vast range of new knowledge, eager to try out the tips you have picked up and push your business forward in to the future. Some of the latest speakers to sign-up include the following, and full information is available www.marine13.com

Malcolm Page
Yachting Australian Discover Sailing Ambassador
Malcolm Page is one of the world’s elite sailors, taking his second Olympic Gold in Weymouth in August 2012 to cap a career that has seen him win at every level of sailing around the world, including five-times 470 World Champion. The flag bearer for the Australian Olympic Team at the 2012 Games closing ceremony, Malcolm is now embracing his role as YA Discover Sailing Ambassador and will join a Marine13 panel with speakers from the USA and UK to discuss how to introduce more people into sailing and boating. Malcolm will also tell his story of winning in Weymouth to provide an inspirational start to the second day of Marine13.

Peter Corcoran
Director of Maritime Safety, Transport Safety Victoria
Peter Corcoran joined Transport Safety Victoria as the Director of Maritime Safety in September 2011. Prior to that Peter spent three years working in public transport management and six years at the former Marine Safety Victoria in a number of roles including Manager Recreational Boating and Manager Safety Systems and Risk.
Peter is a keen sea kayaker and will be talking about how new approaches to managing the growing trend for people to enjoy their boating aboard passive craft, such as kayaks, small sail boats, and kiteboards – educating while also regulating to ensure safety of all on the water.

Multiple Delegate Registration Incentive
In response to strong support from the boating, marinas and boating safety sectors for the expansive program of the Marine13 International Conference and Exhibition, the Marine13 Organising Committee is pleased to announce a multiple-delegate registration initiative. A pricing plan has been arranged that will see organisations registering multiple delegates benefit from the attractive incentive with savings of 10%, 20% and 30% for second, third and fourth delegates from the one business or organisation.
