The Australian International Marine Export Group (AIMEX) announced today the dates for the third Australian Superyacht and Marine Export Conference (ASMEX); the key conference for the marine export and superyacht industry in Australia. ASMEX 2013 will be held on Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd May, 2013 at Sanctuary Cove, Queensland.

The third ASMEX is set to have even greater hype for 2013 now having significant momentum and becoming renowned for its success and provision of quality information, valuable networking and providing the industry with opportunities, solutions and outcomes. 2013 is also set to attract an even greater presence of international delegates.

ASMEX has been scheduled to be held at Sanctuary Cove in Queensland, immediately prior to the 25th anniversary of the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show which promises great energy, excitement and international interest.

The Superyacht Report’s Pacific Editor, Ellie Brade, who attended ASMEX 2012, recently reported of her experience at ASMEX in Issue 135 of The Superyacht Report stating 'The challenges acknowledged, solutions were the order of the day throughout the conference, and the focus was determinedly on how to help the Australian superyacht industry to improve, promote itself and grow.'

ASMEX brings together key industry stakeholders: boat builders, captains, owners, service providers and marine industry manufacturers. A key focus being to promote Australia as a key cruising destination, highlighting the excellent refit and repair services plus the wide range of quality superyacht commercial and leisure boating products and services available in the Australian market.

The conference will address key issues facing the Australian superyacht and export industries and explore current and future opportunities in today’s economic environment. The conference will provide an overview of key global markets and in particular how we can drive more business for our region.

The Australian Marine Export Group organises this conference focusing on the needs and requirements of the industry, ensuring a vast scope of topics and information providing opportunities to delegates. They also see maintaining the registration fee at a minimal cost as paramount to ensure the opportunity to attend is available to all businesses.

ASMEX 2013 has once again received strong support from state and federal government, industry and stakeholders.
