The 2014 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) team are reminding prospective exhibitors to sign up to this year’s Show before the marketing cut-off date of March 24.
March 24, 2014 marks the last chance for exhibitors to be included in the 2014 SCIBS Year Book and Show Guide, which will be distributed to 200,000 targeted letter boxes from Brisbane to Tweed Heads.
Mulpha Sanctuary Cove head of events, Johan Hasser said the Yearbook and Show Guide gives exhibitors invaluable exposure of their brands and products.
'The Yearbook and the Show Guide are both popular with visitors every year and we urge exhibitors to make sure they are included,' said Mr Hasser. 'Exhibitors who come every year to the show know and appreciate how valuable these marketing tools are, the Yearbook is a souvenir people love to keep on their coffee table for months after the show, and the Show Guide has everything visitors need to know about getting in and around the show.
'These publications are an excellent opportunity to let visitors know who will be at the Show, and what products and services will be on display.'
More than 210 exhibitors have already secured space for this year’s show, including new names as well as some of the biggest names in the boating business.
Mr Hasser said all boating interests would be well catered for, with a wide mix of boats and marine products on display.
'Large powerboats include Palm Beach, Horizon, Maritimo, Fleming, Outer Reef, Grand Banks, Ocean Alexander, Riviera, Fairway, Integrity and Greenline motor yachts,' he said.
'We’ll also have the big names in sailboats, including Hanse, Bavaria, Hunter and Beneteau, along with the best and latest in marine technology – with Raymarine, AMI, Navico, Coursemaster, Furuno, GME, Marinonics and Fusion a few of the exhibitors already signed on.
'For those searching for a trailer boat, Nitro Marine, Sirocco Marine North, JD’s Boatshed, Chaparral and Voyager are some of the names that will be joining us as well.'
Mr Hasser said the team had worked hard to improve the 2014 show experience for exhibitors from booking to bump in, right through to attending SCIBS.
'The new website is user friendly and easy to navigate, so we encourage everyone to lodge their application before March 24 to take advantage of these great platforms for promotion,' said Mr Hasser.
Sponsored by Club Marine and Maserati Euromarque Brisbane, SCIBS 2014 will run from May 22 to 25.
This year SCIBS has partnered with Translink to offer free train travel to and from the Boat Show on all regular Queensland Rail City Network trains when users display a pre-purchased ticket to the event.
The Boat Show exit station is Helensvale, which connects via the Park’n’Ride coach service to SCIBS. SCIBS will also run Free ‘Park ‘n’ Ride’ services for all self-drive visitors who choose to park at the new Boat Show Car Park located at Helensvale station.
The 2014 Boat Show will showcase a wide variety of international boating brands, products and technologies on display alongside the superb backdrop of the award-winning Sanctuary Cove marina and The Marine Village.
Offering something for the whole family, SCIBS will also feature a full program of live entertainment, cooking demonstrations and seminars as well as a kids zone and Women on Water program throughout the four-day event.
