The 2014 Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show and National 4x4 & Outdoors Show will have all entertainment bases covered with a host of special guests and activities to occupy the whole family.

To be held at the Brisbane Showgrounds from April 4-6, these two shows merge annually to create Australia's biggest 4x4, off-road, touring, towing, fishing and boating expo, making it the ultimate destination for outdoor enthusiasts, novices and families alike.

The Waeco Outback Stage presented by 4WD Touring Australia will host a series of family friendly informative talks by ultimate Australian Wildlife Warriors - Terri, Bindi and Robert Irwin as well as Chris 'Brolga' Barnes, Kangaroo Dundee himself.

In regular shows, these environmental crusaders will share stories and information about their wildlife experiences and conservation efforts whilst answering questions from interested fans, with the full schedule to be released shortly.

Over at the Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show presented by Club Marine, special guest and host of TV's iFish programme Paul Worsteling is guaranteed to be a hit with anglers of all ages as he takes to the Fishing Expo Stage with regular talks and workshops.

Paul will also regularly drop by the Kids Marine Zone to lend a hand and teach the next generation of fishermen and women amongst us some tricks of the trade.

The always-popular Kids Marine Zone will teach youngsters the basics of fishing, including knot tying, rod casting and bait netting. At the three salt water tanks, kids will learn how to identify different types of sea creatures including estuary fish and well as see dangerous marine life up close such as sting rays, sharks and blue bottles (subject to availability). Children will also be able to use their new-found skills with the chance to catch freshwater yabbies, with all participants receiving prizes and a sample bag.

Plus on the Fishing Expo Stage on the Saturday and Sunday mornings, 'Spit Inyahand' and 'Blue Rednut' (Jason Medcalf and Jason Ehrlich) will be taking kids on an interactive adventure that will entertain, inform and educate them about the great Australian outdoors and fishing.

'The Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show is sure to be a great day for the entire family with education and inspiration for fishos and boaties of all ages,' Kiri Ngarotata, Event Manager, Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show said.

'The Kids Marine Zone is the perfect place for adults to drop kids off, knowing they are supervised and will be entertained, whilst they themselves are kept busy with all the products on display at the Show.'

Kids will also be putting the pressure on their parents to head over to the National 4x4 & Outdoors Show where the Action Arena presented by Isuzu UTE will provide all members of the family plenty of entertainment and giveaways.

Test rides will be available in ATV's and side-by-side vehicles, with Matt Schubring of Crusty Demons fame mastering the Action Arena with a series of jaw-dropping FMX tricks and stunts.

The Isuzu UTE Team D-MAX will also be wowing the crowds with their stunt driving prowess, including two-wheel action and the stomach churning Iron Summit, with the 4x4 Austruck Extremes and the Tassie Devil Monster Truck also tearing up the course.

The National 4x4 & Outdoors Show will also have a dedicated Entertainment Area with plenty to keep kids busy including a jumping castle and a Reptile Awareness Display.

'Yet again, the Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show and National 4x4 & Outdoors Show will cater for visitors of all capabilities and ages with something for everyone,' Paul Mathers, Event Director and Portfolio Lead (Motoring Lifestyle) said.
'The wide range of special guests and activities will entertain all from serious outdoor, 4x4, fishing and boating enthusiasts to those just starting out and their kids!'

With kids under 15 free and adults just $18, the 2014 Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show and National 4x4 & Outdoors Show is guaranteed to provide a value for money action-packed fun day out for the whole family.

A free travel option is also provided for ticketholders, with a free train loop service running via Central, Roma Street, Fortitude Valley and Exhibition Grounds Stations across all three days of the show.
