Riviera Syndication's record sales at Sanctuary Cove Boat Show

'Riviera’s sensational new 5800 Sport Yacht was a hit with Riviera Syndication owners. - Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show'    Denby Browning
Riviera Syndication CEO John Russell has described the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show as 'our best boat show ever'.

'The sale of 15 shares through the shortened three-day show, including seven in the new Riviera 5800 Sport Yacht, makes this our best show result ever,' said Mr Russell. 'To achieve this in the current market indicates the acceptance of our syndication program and also that confidence is returning to the market.'

Riviera Syndication promotes the sale of new Rivieras by syndicated ownership and then provides an ongoing maintenance and management program. The company now have programs at Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast, Sydney, Hamilton Island and Perth with further destinations planned.

The Sanctuary Cove Show this year represented John and Sharon Russell's 10th anniversary selling boats by syndication.

'Two owners at our function on the Riviera stand on Saturday night have been with us for the entire 10 years,' said Mr Russell.

John and Sharon Russell, who pioneered Syndicated boat ownership in the late 1990s, said it is very rewarding to see clients who were initially skeptical about the idea of syndication become complete converts once they were educated in the process.

'We are giving a wide range of people the chance to enjoy the benefits of luxury boat ownership at a fraction of the normal cost and without the worry of maintenance and cleaning,' said Mr Russell.

Riviera Syndication has announced plans to open in Melbourne with an innovative program of a Riviera 4400 Sport Yacht to be based in Melbourne during the summer and moved to the Whitsundays during the winter.

'We also opened at Rushcutters Bay in Sydney in April this year, promoting the soon to be released Riviera 5000 Sport Yacht and the new 5800 and we have other exciting options available in the near future,' said Mr Russell.
