Simpson Marine has appointed a new Beneteau and Lagoon Brand Manager, James Rayner, to be based in Hong Kong. James joins the company from England where he was a broker for Azimut, Hunter and various sail boats for the past two years.

James has been sailing since he was 8 years old and has worked in the marine industry for the past 6 years. Prior to working as a broker, James was an RYA Instructor at a UK Maritime Academy for the Ocean Graduate Plus course designed for professional mariners to work as skippers for small and large ocean going sail and motor yachts.

“I am delighted to welcome James to Simpson Marine” said Mike Simpson, Managing Director of Simpson Marine Limited. “I wish him great success in his new role. The Beneteau and Lagoon brands have been established throughout Asia for over 20 years now and James role will be to build on our past success with these great brands.

“I am very excited to be in Asia and working with Simpson Marine. I am looking forward to introducing Beneteau and Lagoon to many more aspiring yachtsmen in Asia and to supporting the many owners of these fine yachts already in the Far East.” said James.
